SPECIFIC CHIROPRACTIC - FARNBOROUGH CHIROPRACTOR
Before seeing you, your chiropractor will have reviewed your intake form. During your first visit, your chiropractor will go through your health history to discuss your condition and what you want out of your specific chiropractic care. There will then be a Physical Assessment which involves the following:
- Postural assessment
- Spinal palpation (static and motion)
- Orthopaedic testing
- Neurological testing
Based on these findings, your chiropractor may recommend that some X-rays be performed using our on-site X-ray facilities. If required, these can be performed straight away at our chiropractic clinic in Farnborough with you standing so we can see your structure.

Now that you have undergone thorough testing and have been provided with a Specific Care Plan, you won't need long on each adjustment visit and shouldn't need more than 10minutes in the clinic.
You may need to change into a gown in one of our changing rooms and your chiropractor will have any notes and X-rays ready to view as you walk in. You will have your spine checked by palpation and spinal thermography using a nervoscope (click below to learn more about the Gonstead System or explore the Gonstead society website). Once those checks are performed you are ready to have your spine adjusted. The adjustments are specific, fast and safe.
Throughout your Specific Care Plan we book progress reviews which are slightly longer appointments. This allows for time to discuss how you are improving and your chiropractor can check you are on the right track.
